graphic & web designer

Hey, my name is Dawn Tarabocchia, a graphic designer & front-end web developer living in the greater New York City area. I graduated in 2012 from the University of Connecticut with a BFA in Communication Design. I also studied abroad at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design at the University of the Arts London.

I enjoy working in all forms of design including branding, print, web, & interactive experiences. When I am not pushing pixels, you can find me exploring photography, traveling with friends & family, or swinging around my kettlebell. Oh, and I am also in pursuit of my pilot license.

Scivantage Client Conference 2015

This year’s conference is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company wanted to highlight their 15th Anniversary. I drew on the crystal reference and the lights of Vegas to create the look and feel of the entire conference. I am also creating any other branded material for this event including posters, banners, and presentation materials.

Structural Translations Poster

The brief for this project was to design a poster for a fictional global symposium called Structural Translations by drawing on inspiration from the work of an architect and musician. I chose the music of Usher and the architecture of Thomas Heatherwick.

Emotions

This installation was reflecting on a month's experience in London. I recorded my emotion for every hour of the day and assigned colors to each of the 200 emotions I was choosing from. During the month, I was exploring how our moods can be affected by the people, places, and things surrounding us.
